Machine herald(flowmetal) and my resources(Kermal, and Keriders),

EchoWinds race can help cultivate energy

Drevos's lands and meteorites to plant the things that will grow.

If we can get the star lands flowing with magic again... we'll see. First I got to repair the damage you wrought in the beginning. We have a fuck ton of magic-eating infernal monsters on the loose without any sapience to limit their shit, and I'm 3 turns behind on uplifting them into medamn wizard faux-mayan empire builders

I am trying to get more magic energy first so hopefully i can tap into it and better power things i make. Making the place "bigger" sounds like a good idea too, more space on the canvas , less border wars.

i was thinking of integrating the Lo, or something like them, as part of the magic lands, maybe serving as batteries or conduits, or something.

Actually the reason I want to expand Edora is so it is not a big round planet.

Yep. Which is why sending them over is a good idea. Helps out the magic lands (keeps everything from exploding), helps magic spread (when the Lo start using magic, I'll probably have the freshly subjugated Sren start using it) and provides the Lo with a new power source.

Win-win-win.

You guys will probably have to help me get started in helping(half-way across the world), until then the Keriders are being perfected, but once the get going they will probably be studying magic and helping moving things to best get magic flowing up there. Plus the Lo sounds good.

I haven't even established my race yet, I was going with sentient trees/flora integrated with fauna eventually, nudging the trees towards broadcasting magic collected from the sun (i believe that's how the crystals worked)

I would love the chance to have my race flourish and thrive with everyone else so I would like to go this route.

Or something similar, ( i have pumped a lot of magic into the Kermal and it just kind of deadens it(normally because of lack of direction of where it is going) hence my disposition toward using it)

I refuse to allow the Kermal, something YOU control almost exclusively, to be the focus of magic >_> my star core was at least shorn from my body, and thus impossible for me to soly control.

If we're doing this, we all have equal control.

We are a pantheon of the Heavens and Magic.

The Infernals can be our base race, and we can expand them out from there.

We use the new focus, if you haven't submitted an action for this turn you should reinforce it by the way, to be the "Seed" as it were. Producing tiny seeds that grow into magic producing trees of starfire and crystal.

These will spread, rebuilding the Magic Lands.

Echo's forest would actually be perfect for this spreading the magic deal. They might not end up sapient though, you'll need to find a way to encourage sapiency in them somehow without mobility? I don't know. Anyway, we'll see.

Other thoughts?

also we should probably build a land bridge or drag Cae's mountain over the ocean to the estuaries in the southern side of the magic lands.

The "magic lands" will remain in the north, if it spreads further, it won't be because we encouraged it.

But magic WILL leak out of them, and our goal is to spread magic across the entire planet. The ocean is necessary. If you want a magicless island, that might end up being a casualty.

That's the idea! i'm sure ill work out a way to make them sapient and I would include the magic generation into their base functionality so that they couldn't be taken advantage of. IE if the sapience doesn't extend into the tree it will still generate magic.

You could take some kermal from the base allowing it to be used as part of the focal point which if my therory of magic deadens is true, it is useful, if not then the keriders i will just have a bonus for it being there, and i can use some of the keriders as caretakers (by the way not planning sentience for the keriders, so mindless, super effective drones seem usefull?)?

anyway. I'm vetoing the Kermal being the focus of magic thing. We'll force all the magic into a single focus in the middle of the magic lands. Then we'll expand outward.

Well when we forge the magic focus, you'll need to do that, give up part of it to fuel the making of this thing.
